  1. "CLark Kent in the Big House" reminded me a little of "Clark Kent, Outlaw", from Season 3 of the old '50s George Reeves TV series, in which Clark also pretended to be disgraced and fired from the Daily Planet, as part of a plan to join and trap a gang of diamond thieves. That one seemed a bit more in character for the TV version of Clark Kent, who was less "meek and mild" than the '60s comic book version.
"The Kryptonian Killer" was a good ending for "The Planet of Outcasts" from the previous issue of Action Comics. I thought, when Comet drank the super-poison, that it wouldn't affect him since he wasn't Kryptonian, and therefore immune to kryptonite, but I also thought that Supergirl had communicated telepathically with him because, somehow, she wasn't really under the hypnotic spell. I guess I was 1 for 2, there. Not bad, I guess, with all the Silver Age plot twists in this story.

    1. I’m going to have to get out my copy of Season 3 Of The TV show and watch it. I had forgotten about it.
