- (12:32) THE COMPOSITE SUPERMAN (18 pgs.), written by Edmond Hamilton, pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by George Klein, according to Mike's Amazing World Of DC Comics. The Grand Comic Book Database and Comic Book Database.com credit George Klein as the inker on the nine page Part I, and Sheldon Moldoff as the inker for Part II. This story was also reprinted in WORLD'S FINEST COMICS 223, May/June 1974, published on February 19, 1974. It contained 100 pages for the cover price of 60¢, and had  a circulation of 246, 871. This story was also reprinted in DC SPECIAL SERIES 23, February 1981, published on November 25, 1980. It contained 64 pages for the cover price of 75¢. This story was also reprinted in SUPERMAN/BATMAN: THE GREATEST STORIES EVER TOLD and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: WORLD'S FINEST vol. II.

- (46:01) FLAME DRAGON FROM KRYPTON, written by Jerry Siegel, pencilled by Wayne Boring and inked by Stan Kaye. This story was originally published in SUPERMAN 142, January 1961, published on November 3, 1960. At the time of original publication, it was Siegel's 20th silver age Superman story, and his 51st overall for the era. This story was also reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN vol. II. We originally covered this story during Episode 232 for the week of July 4, 2012.

- THE UNKNOWN SUPERMAN (17 pgs, Part I was 7 pages long), writer unknown, was drawn by Kurt Schaffenberger, who signed his name in the title panel. This story was reprinted in SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 113, September/October 1971, published on July 6, 1971. It contained 64 pages for the cover price of 35¢.

- Part II was titled, THE SECRET OF STRONG BEAR (9 pgs.).

- LOIS LANE, BEAUTY QUEEN (9 pgs.), writer unknown, was pencilled by John Forte and inked by George Klein.

WORLD'S FINEST COMICS 141, May 1964, published on March 12, 1964. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of 12¢. This issue marks Mort Weisinger's first issue as series editor. The cover was pencilled by Curt Swan, inked by George Klein and lettered by Ira Schnapp.

- The 17 page Superman/Batman story was titled, THE OLSEN-ROBIN TEAM VERSUS THE SUPERMAN-BATMAN TEAM. Part I was eight pages long. The writer was Edmund Hamilton, pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by George Klein. This story was also reprinted in WORLD'S FINEST COMICS 225, September/October 1974, published on June 18, 1974. (I mistakenly said 1975 during the recording.) It contained 100 pages for the cover price of 60¢. It was also reprinted in EVEN MORE SECRET ORIGINS 1, SHOWCASE PRESENTS: ROBIN THE BOY WONDER, SHOWCASE PRESENTS: WORLD'S FINEST vol. II and DC UNIVERSE: SECRET ORIGINS.

- Part II: THE VENGEANCE OF SUPERMAN AND BATMAN (9 pgs.).

- THE IRRESISTIBLE LOIS LANE, writer unknown according to Mike's Amazing World Of DC Comics, while the Grand Comic Book Database and the Comic Book Database credit Robert Bernstein. The story was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye. It was originally published in SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 29, November 1961, published on September 21, 1961 (six days before my first birthday). This story would also be reprinted in SUPERMAN FAMILY 171, June/July 1975, published on March 11, 1975. It contained 64 pages for the cover price of 50¢.

Among other things it solicited ideas for the name of an upcoming letters column for this series. This 500TH individual episode features SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN 76, April 1964, published on February 27, 1964 (26 years before my son's birthday). It contained 32 pages for the cover price of 12¢.The editor was Mort Weisinger, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan, inked by George Klein and lettered by Ira Schnapp.

- ELASTIC LAD AND HIS LEGION ROMANCES (9 pgs.), written by Jerry Siegel and drawn by John Forte. This was Siegel's 79th silver age Superman Family story, and his 124th overall for the era. The story was reprinted in ADVENTURE COMICS 503, September 1983, published on June 2, 1983. It contained 100 pages for the cover price of $1.25. This issue was also the final issue of the series, which began as NEW COMICS, cover dated December 1935, published around November 2, 1935. It was the second series published by the company that would become DC Comics as we know it today, after NEW FUN COMICS 1, cover date February 1935, published on January 11, 1935.

- THE DEATH MARCH (9 pgs.), written by Leo Dorfman and drawn by Al Plastino. It was reprinted in SUPERMAN FAMILY 164 (which continued the numbering of Jimmy Olsen's title), the April/May 1974 issue, published on January 24, 1974. It contained 100 pages for the cover price of 60¢.

- THE GOOSE WITH THE GOLDEN EGG (8 pgs.), writer unknown, pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by George Klein.
