  1. I've always loved imaginary stories, and the exploration of family lives for both Superman and Batman is certainly a worthy topic. I'm glad that the writer (and my money is on Edmond Hamilton here) actually showed Lois Lane and Kathy Kane as the World's Finest Wives. I like it when the writer doesn't dodge the issue by keeping the wives in shadow and not naming them. The only really odd part of the story for me was one you pointed out. It doesn't really make sense for Superman's son to be named Kal, Jr., since Lois married Clark, not Superman, in this story. Even if, like Nicholas Cage, they'd named their son Kal-El, in honor of their well-known friend, Superman, he wouldn't be Kal, Jr., he'd be Kal Kent. Regardless of the name issue, though, I think the boys did a good job and their parents could be quite proud of them.

  2. You may have said this, but if so I missed it. "The Napoleon of Crime" was a nickname given by Sherlock Holmes to his arch-nemesis Professor Moriarty. -- Professor Alan
