You have to hand it to Lois in "Lois Lane's Great Houdini Trick"! I'd have needed days or weeks of practice to write legibly with my left hand (I'm right-handed.), but Lois managed to learn to write with her foot with "hours" of practice! I also think "Voodoo" Vickers was either very bold or very stupid to use the name Swami Vudu, since it could easily remind someone of his criminal name.
ReplyDeleteIn "Lois Lane - Spy Hunter", I notice that the affidavit Lois has at the beginning of the story is marked "Photostat Copy". I certainly hope that the original is kept somewhere safe, because a photostat copy would be inadmissible in court. Presumably, the original would have been witnessed, which might allow for it to be admitted as evidence, even though the person who gave the affidavit was dead. I did some checking about the red ribbon on the horse's tail, and it does, indeed, indicate that people should give the horse a wide berth, especially from behind.
"The Captive Princess" was a fun, exotic, "Arabian Nights" sort of tale, and I was glad to see that Prince Ali was not really a murderer.
