  1. I can certainly see Kal-el's Chauvinistic response at the end being a downer for the whole series. It's one of those things people point to about being an outright negative for the Silver Age stories.

"I thought Lois Lane had a pretty cool costume and one of the things I would like to see cosplayers do more is to delve a little deeper into comic book history and get inspired to wear some of these costumes from some of the more obscure stories."

Challenge accepted. I've been debating doing the "Superwoman" costume from one of the "Mr. and Mrs. Superman" stories (late Silver/Bronze age admittedly but it's one I actually have the comic for.) I think part of the reason most people haven't is probably because those are so hard to find. I actually tried to find it online and the LEAST expensive was about $13. Kinda expensive to buy JUST to cosplay (still interested in this comic, but it'll have to be put on my wishlist for a holiday request).
