Download Episode 379 Part III!

SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 55, February 1965, was published on December 24, 1964. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of 12¢. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was drawn by Kurt Schaffenberger and lettered by Ira Schnapp. Schaffenberger was also the artist for all three stories in this issue. (Note: I mistakenly said that all three stories were eight pages long.)

- (1:35) MY PULL LIST, reviewing the comic books cover dated August 2018, which were published during the month of June, that I received from Discount Comic Book Service.

- (12:47) LOIS LANE'S COLLEGE SCOOPS (8 pgs.), written by Leo Dorfman and lettered by Vivian Berg. This story was subtitled AN UNKNOWN STORY, which was the 22nd "Untold Story" we've covered in this podcast.

- (28:30) LETTERS TO LOIS column.

- (35:11) SUPERMAN'S SECRET WIFE (8 pgs.), written by Otto Binder and lettered by Milt Snappin.

- (51:12) THE FINGERGIRL OF DEATH (9 pgs.), written by Otto Binder and lettered by Milt Snappin.

Also highlighted in this episode are the issue's ads and other features.

Next Episode: SUPERMAN COMIC BOOK COVER DATED FEBRUARY 1965 PART IV: ACTION COMICS 321. Since this is the final Superman issue with the February 1965 cover date, at the end of the episode will be the segment, ELSEWHERE IN DC COMICS, where we review the other DC titles which carried the February or February/March 1965 cover date.

Then we will feature: SUPERMAN FAMILY COMIC BOOKS COVER DATED MARCH 1965: PART I: SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN 83, PART II: ACTION COMICS 322 & PART III: WORLD'S FINEST COMICS 148!
