This is my final episode of my Megacon 2013 coverage. In this episode I touch on the highlights of the convention and the panels I attended, getting to meet Darren Nowell, co-host of the Legion Of Substitute Podcasters, as well as some of the news coming from DC Comics in the days after the Con. Then I end the episode with my interview with comic book artist Bob McCleod.

MegaCon 2014 will occur Friday, March 21, 2014 through Sunday, March 23, 2014.

Jimmy Palmiotti shares his experiences on the three Kickstarter graphic novels he has funded through the crowd sourcing website. He answers questions and shares the do's and don'ts of putting together a project funded through Kickstarter.

Jimmy Palmiotti's three Kickstarter projects were QUEEN CRABRETROVIRUS and SEX AND VIOLENCE. These graphic novels are intended for an adult audience.

The INDIE COMICS PANEL was the second panel I attended at MegaCon on Sunday, March 17, 2013. The Dean Cain panel was the second one I attended on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at MegaCon. Dean Cain was welcomed with a standing ovation in the crowded hall. He shared many stories about his time on LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN TV show. Dean talked about the development of the Superman costume, his influences for the roles of both the Man of Steel and Clark Kent and the rigors of filming the flying scenes. He also discussed other roles he has had over his career, and offered advice to potential actors in the audience.

I also wrote a report of his panel for the Superman Homepage.

The GIVING BACK TO FANDOM panel was the second one I attended at MegaCon 2013, on Friday, March 15, 2013. It was moderated by Siike Donnelly and Gene Hoyle, co-hosts of the NERD NATION RADIO podcast. Also on the panel were Kate CarletonRachel PandichPaul BarnesGrayven and Monica Ravenwolf, and Sarge, who hosts BATTLE DRAWN RADIO with Grayven. They discussed the Kickstarter funded graphic novel SOLESTAR, which was the topic of this episode of the NERD NATION RADIO podcast. Profits from the sale of SOLESTAR are going toward research to find a cure for brain aneurysms, of which Siike Donnelly is a survivor. Kate and Rachel also discuss the anthology WOMANTHOLOGY.

All of the panelists discuss using the medium of comic books to raise awareness, influence society and help save lives.

WORLD'S FINEST COMICS 99, February 1959, was published around December 4, 1958. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of a dime. The editor was Jack Schiff, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye.

- The 12 page Superman/Batman story was titled, BATMAN'S SUPER SPENDING SPREE, written by Bill Finger, pencilled by Dick Sprang and inked by Stan Kaye. This story has been reprinted in WORLD'S FINEST COMICS ARCHIVE vol. II and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: WORLD'S FINEST vol. I.

- Green Arrow starred in the six page story,CRIMES UNDER GLASS, written by Robert Bernstein, pencilled by Jack Kirby and inked by his wife, Roz Kirby.

- Tomahawk wrapped up the issue in the six page story, THE FRONTIER ROGUES GALLERY, drawn by Fred Ray.
