SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN 12, April 1956, was published around February 21, 1956. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of a dime. The editor was Mort Weisinger, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Ray Burnley, the art team for all three 8 page stories. They were all written by Otto Binder, and have been reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN FAMILY vol. I.
- JIMMY OLSEN, PRINCE OF CLOWNS
- THE SECRET OF DINOSAUR ISLAND
- THE INVISIBLE JIMMY OLSEN
Elsewhere in DC Comics, 32 titles carried the April or April/May 1956 cover date.
Also, we have e-mails, including one asking for information on a Superman story about his alien zoo. It was reprinted in the 1970 Superman Bumper Book, a UK Superman hardcover anthology. If any Superman Fans know about the original publication info about this story, post it as a comment or via e-mail!
