  1. First, I have to comment on a bit of a surprise. While listening to your "My Pull List" segment, I had to stop and rewind when you discussed The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion #1, and I heard the name Gerard Way, former frontman of the band My Chemical Romance. I am by no means a big fan of the band, but my youngest niece is, and has often gone on long monologues about how wonderful they were. I think, if she'd told me that one of their members was a comic book writer, she'd have made more headway with me.
In "The Infinite Evolutions of Batman and Superman", I was glad to see that the Evolution Accelerator was invented by someone other than Jor-El. Too often, when some device or weapon from Krypton finds its way to Earth, we learn that Jor-El was it's inventor. It's good to know that there were other competent inventors and scientists on Krypton.
In Part II, "The Caveman Superman vs. The Future Batman", I have to wonder a bit about the seeming pinpoint accuracy of Caveman Superman in traveling through time as he sought vengeance on Future Batman, from the distant past to 1965, and then from 1965 to the far future to the precise time Batman had traveled to. Similarly, I wonder how Krypto was able to find the exact time in the past to find Superman and save him from Batman. Maybe he can somehow track Superman's scent through the time barrier. I realize it's Silver Age comic book science, but it's fun, sometimes, to think about this stuff.

    1. I agree. A lot of the fun in reading these old stories is over-analyzing them by taking some of these plot twists to their logical conclusion.
