SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 43, August 1963, was published around July 27, 1963. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of 12¢. The editor was Mort Weisinger, and the cover was drawn by Kurt Schaffenberger and lettered by Ira Schnapp. It featured the second of the issue's three stories, which were all drawn by Schaffenberger.

- THE GIRL WHO MOURNED FOR SUPERMAN (10 pgs.), written by Leo Dorfman. This story was reprinted in SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 113, September/October 1971, published on July 6, 1971. It contained 64 pages for the cover price of 35¢.

- LOIS LANE - VOLUNTEER NURSE (8 pgs.), writer unknown according to Mike's Amazing World Of DC Comics. The Grand Comic Book Database credits Leo Dorfman as the writer. This story was also reprinted in SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 120, March 1972, published on January 20, 1972. It contained 48 pages for the cover price of a quarter.

- THE GIRL WHO DESERTED SUPERMAN (8 pgs.), writer unknown according to Mike's Amazing World Of DC Comics. The Grand Comic Book Database credits Leo Dorfman (?) as possibly the writer.

Last episode I forgot to mention that elsewhere in DC Comics, 29 titles carried the July or July/August 1963 cover date, according to Mike's Amazing World Of DC Comics.
