  1. Holy moley! Marrying Superman seems to be as dangerous for a woman as falling in love with James Bond! Maybe, rather than trying to give his wives the full range of Kryptonian super powers, maybe Superman should have focused his attention on just making them invulnerable. That would have solved the problem of their being targeted by his enemies, and might possibly have lessened the chances of any bad side-effects.
You mention that the metal eater was your favorite Kryptonian animal. I think mine is the thought beast, with the giant flat screen TVs on its head "frill", showing what the beast was thinking (usually that he was going to eat someone). It was always such a crystal clear picture, I guess because it was "closed circuit" from the creature's brain, rather than a broadcast signal. I always thought that such a feature would likely have been an evolutionary disadvantage, and yet, there it was.

  2. The Thought Beast is another favorite of mine. The fabled "Winged Ones" that were almost sacred on Krypton reminded me of Unicorns on Earth.
