  1. I really enjoyed this story! Like you, I hadn't seen this wonderful imaginary tale before, and I think it's one of the best I've heard --- right up there with "Superman-Red, Superman-Blue". This would have been ripe for a follow-up story at some point. It certainly gives a more 3-dimensional view of Lex Luthor's character. I've always believed that there is some good in Luthor, and, in later stories, Elliot S! Maggin showed some of that, too.

  2. Oh, yes! That's a great story! Maggin also gives a nuanced view of Luthor in his novels, "Superman: Last Son of Krypton" and "Miracle Monday".
