SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN 27, March 1958, was published around January 16, 1958. It contained 32 pages for 10¢. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye. All three 8 page stories were done by the same creative team, writer Otto Binder, penciller Curt Swan and inker Ray Burnley. They were reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN FAMILY vol. II.

- THE BOY FROM MARS

- A DATE WITH MISS METROPOLIS

- THE OUTLAW JIMMY OLSEN, which was featured on the cover.

SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 1, March/April 1958, was published on January 14, 1958. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of a dime. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye. All three 8 page stories were drawn by Kurt Schaffenber (featured way back in Episode 5), and have been reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN FAMILY vol. II.

- THE BOMBSHELL OF THE BOULEVARDS, written by Leo Dorfman, was also reprinted in SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 67, which was the issue in which I first read this story as a boy in the mid-1960's.

- LOIS LANE, SUPER CHEF, written by Otto Binder.

- THE WITCH OF METROPOLIS, written by Otto Binder, was also reprinted in SUPERMAN ANNUAL 1 and SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND LOIS LANE 77 (which was an 80 page giant, reprinting past Lois Lane stories).

WORLD'S FINEST COMICS 93, March/April 1958, was published around January 28, 1958. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of 10¢. Jack Schiff was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye.

The 12 page Superman/Batman story was THE BOSS OF SUPERMAN & BATMAN, written by Bill Finger, pencilled by Dick Sprang and inked by Stan Kaye. It was reprinted in WORLD'S FINEST COMICS ARCHIVE vol. II and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: WORLD'S FINEST vol. I.

Green Arrow starred in the 6 page story, RAID OF THE VULTURE MAN, drawn by George Papp.

Tomahawk starred in the 6 page story, THE MILITIA WITHOUT MUSKETS, also drawn by George Papp.

Elsewhere in DC Comics, 36 titles carried the March or March/April 1958 cover date.

SUPERMAN 143, February 1961, was published around December 15, 1960. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of 10¢. According to Mike's Amazing World Of DC Comics, this issue had a circulation of 810,000. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye, featuring the issue's third and final story. All three stories were reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN vol. II.

- THE GREAT SUPERMAN HOAX (9 pgs.), written by Robert Bernstein, pencilled by Wayne Boring and inked by Stan Kaye.

- LOIS LANE'S LUCKY DAY (8 pgs.), written by Jerry Siegel and inked by John Forte. This was Siegel's 22nd silver age Superman story, and his 54th overall in this era. Before this story, he also wrote SUPERBOY AND THE MERMAID FROM ATLANTIS, published in ADVENTURE COMICS 280.

- BIZARRO MEETS FRANKENSTEIN (9 pgs.), featured on this issue's cover, was written by Otto Binder, pencilled by Wayne Boring and inked by Stan Kaye. This story was also reprinted in SUPERMAN FROM THE THIRTIES TO THE SEVENTIES.

ACTION COMICS 273, February 1961, was published around December 29, 1960. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of a dime, and its circulation was 458,000.

- The10 page  Superman story was titled THE WORLD OF MR. MXYZPTLK, written by Jerry Siegel and drawn by Al Plastino. This story was reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN vol. II. It was Jerry Siegel's 23rd silver age Superman story and the 55th overall.

- The 13 page Supergirl story was titled THE SUPERGIRL OF TWO WORLDS, written by Otto Binder and drawn by Jim Mooney. It was reprinted in SUPERGIRL ARCHIVES vol. II and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERGIRL vol. I.

SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN 26, February 1958, was published around December 5, 1957. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of a dime. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye. It featured the third story on the cover. GIANT SUPERMAN ANNUAL 1, published with the DC titles carrying the January 1961 cover date, was published around November 10, 1960. It contained 80 pages for the cover price of 25¢. (Today, that would be the equivalent of $1.92, which won't buy an 80 page comic these days.) The Superman titles which carried the January 1961 cover date were covered in Episode 232. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye. 6 Superman stories were reprinted in this Annual:

- THE INVULNERABLE ENEMY (12 pgs.), originally published in ACTION COMICS 226, March 1957, released around January 29, 1957. Otto Binder was the writer, Wayne Boring pencilled the art and Stan Kay was the inker.

- THE MENACE OF METALLO (12 pgs.), originally published in ACTION COMICS 252, May 1959,  released around March 31, 1959. (This issue is better known for the first Supergirl story which was the third and final story of the issue.) Robert Bernstein wrote this first Metallo story, which was drawn by Al Plastino. This story was previously covered in Episode 188.

- TITANO THE SUPER APE (8 pgs.), originally published in SUPERMAN 127, February 1959,  released  around December 18, 1958. This story was written by Otto Binder, pencilled by Wayne Boring and inked by Stan Kaye, and was originally covered in Episode 182.

- THE THING FROM 40,000 A. D. (10 pgs.), originally published in SUPERMAN 87, February 1954,  released  around December 11, 1953. It was written by bill finger, pencilled by Wayne boring and inked by Stan Kaye.

- THE BOY OF STEEL VS THE THING OF STEEL (24 pgs.), originally published in SUPERBOY 68, October 1958,  released  around August 21, 1958. This first Bizarro story was written by Otto Binder and drawn by George Papp. It was covered in Episode 67.

- THE SUPER DUEL IN SPACE (13 pgs), originally published in ACTION COMICS 242, July 1958, released around May 29, 1958. This first Brainiac story was previously covered in Episode 162. It was written by Otto Binder and drawn by Al Plastino.
