SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN 25, December 1957, was published around October 15, 1957. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of 10¢. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye. All three 8 page stories were done by the same creative team, writer Otto Binder, penciller Curt Swan and inker Ray Burnley. These stories have been reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN FAMILY vol. II.

For this 250th individual episode, the featured Superman issue is ACTION COMICS 271, December 1960, published around October 27, 1960. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of a dime. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye.

The 13 page Superman story in this issue was titled VOYAGE TO DIMENSION X, written by Otto Binder and drawn by Al Plastino. It was reprinted in SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN vol. II.

Supergirl starred in the 13 page story, SUPERGIRL'S FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, written by Jerry Siegel and drawn by Jim Mooney. This was Supergirl's 32nd story, and Siegel's 31st silver age Superman Family story (50th overall silver age story).

Before this story, Siegel also wrote THE IMPOSSIBLE MISSION for SUPERBOY 85 and ALIAS CHIP O'DOOLE for SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN 49, both with the December 1960 cover date.

Also featured in this issue is the METROPOLIS MAILBAG.

WORLD'S FINEST COMICS 91, November/December 1957, was published around September 26, 1957. It contained 32 pages for the cover price of a dime. Jack Schiff was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye.

The 12 page Superman/Batman story was titled THE THREE SUPER SLEEPERS, written by Edmond Hamilton, pencilled by dick Sprang and inked by Stan Kaye. This story was reprinted in WORLD'S FINEST COMICS ARCHIVES vol. II and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: WORLD'S FINEST vol. I.

Green Arrow starred in the 6 page story, THE CHAIN LETTER ARROWS, written by France E. Herron and drawn by George Papp.

Tomahawk starred in the 6 page story, THE TELLER OF TALL TALES, written by Dave Wood and drawn by Bob Brown.

SUPERMAN 141, November 1960, was published around September 15, 1960. It contained 32 pages for a dime. Mort Weisinger was the editor, and the cover was pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by Stan Kaye.

SUPERMAN'S RETURN TO KRYPTON (A GREAT 3-PART NOVEL) was written by Jerry Siegel, pencilled by Wayne Boring and inked by Stan Kaye. It was reprinted in SUPERMAN IN THE SIXTIES, SUPERMAN: THE GREATEST STORIES EVER TOLD vol. II and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN vol. II.

The three parts were titled:

- SUPERMAN MEETS JOR-ELAND LARA (9 pgs.)

- SUPERMAN'S KRYPTON ROMANCE (9 pgs.)

- THE SURPRISE OF FATE (8 pgs.)

This was Siegel's 19th silver age Superman story, and 47th overall during this era. Previously, he wrote THE DUEL FOR EARTH for ADVENTURE COMICS 277, October 1960, his 28th silver age Superman Family story.

The 10 page Superman story was titled THE OLD MAN OF METROPOLIS (called SUPERMAN'S OLD AGE on the cover), written by Otto Binder, pencilled by Curt Swan and inked by John Forte. It was reprinted in 80 PAGE GIANT 1, SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERMAN vol. II and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERGIRL vol. I.

Supergirl starred in the 13 page story, SUPERGIRL'S BUSIEST DAY, written by Jerry Siegel and drawn by Jim Mooney. It was reprinted in SUPERGIRL ARCHIVES vol. II and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: SUPERGIRL vol. I. This was his 29th silver age Superman Family story.
