Episode #211: Superman 2011: The Year In Review!

Download Episode!

In the fourth annual Year In Review episode, we say Goodbye to the old Superman and say Hello to the New 52 Man of Steel.

I review the final issues of the SUPERMAN: GROUNDED storyline in 2011 in SUPERMAN 707 - 714, the Lex Luthor BLACK RING story in ACTION COMICS 897 - 900,as well as the REIGN OF THE DOOMSDAYS story in ACTION COMICS 900 - 904.

Also reviewed in this episode are the Superman specials: SUPERMAN 80 PG. GIANT, JIMMY OLSEN one shot, SUPERMAN BEYOND 0 and FLASHPOINT: PROJECT SUPERMAN 1 - 3.
Bringing in the new Superman are ACTION COMICS 1 - 4 and SUPERMAN 1 - 3 (issue 4 was published on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, and I was not able to purchase that issue in time for this episode).

I express my views about how the old Superman continuity ended, and my thoughts about the early issues of the New Superman.
